Cauliflower "Cheese" Sauce
1 head of cauliflower, steamed
3 tbsp avocado oil (can sub olive oil, ghee or butter)
6-8 tbsp nutritional yeast (adjust to taste and to the size of your cauliflower)
2 tbsp lemon juice (about 1 lemon)
½ tsp garlic powder
1 ½ tsp black pepper
1 tsp salt
Pasta
1 box pasta of choice (I used Banza Chickpea Alphabets)
1 bag frozen peas, cooked according to package directions
more nutritional yeast for topping
sliced green onions for topping
Directions

To a blender or food processor, add steamed cauliflower, avocado oil, nutritional yeast, lemon juice, garlic powder, pepper and salt.

Mix until creamy and smooth. Set aside.

Cook pasta and peas according to package directions.

Mix pasta, peas and sauce together. Sprinkle with nutritional yeast and sliced green onions.
